Stephanie Jean Riddle was 35 and a mother of five when she was killed on July 7, 2016, at a Hapeville, Georgia, hotel. The killing followed a period of escalating domestic violence by her boyfriend, Jerrell Berger. Riddle had decided to end the relationship after repeated physical abuse; a violent assault that included hair-pulling and being struck in the face with a metal vacuum cleaner prompted her to call police. Berger was arrested on a misdemeanor and released on a $2,000 bond two days later with a no-contact condition that he immediately violated by confronting Riddle at her home.

Neighbors called 911 but Berger fled before officers could arrest him, and Riddle warned officers that he would kill her if not detained. The next day Berger found Riddle at the Hilton Atlanta Airport, chased her into a room she was cleaning and shot her six times, the last shot described as execution-style to the head. Berger was arrested for her murder and later pleaded guilty to murder and related charges and received a 35-year sentence.

Did anyone who knew Stephanie or saw her in Hapeville or at the Hilton Atlanta Airport in July 2016 have information that could shed light on what happened?
