Geral Denise Walker was last seen in the predawn hours of early October 1992 in the parking lot of the Salt and Pepper Lounge in Dothan, Alabama. She was 26 and a mother of four who never returned home after a night out with friends. Her children discovered she had not come back and notified family the next morning.
Geral is described as a Black female, 5 feet 1 inch to 5 feet 3 inches tall, 120 to 135 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. Distinguishing features include a gap between her front teeth, a small scar at the left corner of her mouth, and a Cesarean section scar on her abdomen. The Salt and Pepper Lounge had a history of violent incidents; within days and months after her disappearance there were multiple shootings there and the venue later lost its license in 1993.
Investigators have treated her disappearance as an active case and consider it likely she was a homicide victim, but without her recovery the case remains unsolved. Does anyone who was in Dothan in October 1992 or who knew Geral have information that could help her family?
