Patrick Michael Dolan, 80, died on September 7, 2023, in the Baltimore area after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer’s disease. Born January 14, 1943, in Waterloo, Iowa, he graduated from Columbus High School, Loras College, and Johns Hopkins University. He served on active duty in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam and Persian Gulf wars and retired from the Army Reserve as a Lieutenant Colonel.

Dolan worked for 41 years at the Johns Hopkins University School of Public Health and Hygiene, retiring in 2012. He lived in Joppatowne, Maryland, was a member of St. Stephen Church in Bradshaw and the Knights of Columbus in Bel Air, and was married to Karen Ellen Dolan for 55 years. He is survived by a son, three daughters and three grandchildren; he was preceded in death by his parents and a sister.
