Taurus Jermaine Freeman, 40, of Union City, Georgia, was shot and killed after a confrontation during what began as a brief stop at a Chevron on Jonesboro Road. On November 7, 2015, at about 2 a.m., Freeman was getting into his 2012 Dodge Challenger when an armed man demanded his keys. A struggle followed and Freeman was shot multiple times. The attacker then fled in Freeman’s car, leaving him critically injured; he was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital and later died.

Police later recovered the stolen vehicle — described as a red/maroon two-door coupe with chrome rims — that same month, but no suspects were publicly identified and no arrests had been announced as of early 2017. Freeman’s family subsequently filed a $5 million lawsuit against the Chevron’s owner, alleging prior attacks and inadequate security.

Does anyone have information about Freeman, the vehicle, or the events around that early morning on November 7, 2015?
