Bernadene S. Lebert-Davis, 43, was found shot to death inside her home on Helm Drive in Covington, Georgia, on September 17, 2015. She was discovered upstairs with a gunshot wound to her forehead. Her 21-year-old son, Robert M. Kelli-Davis, was also found dead that day in the garage with a gunshot wound to his back.

The suspect was identified as Bernadene’s husband, Robert Maurice Davis. Investigators found inconsistencies between his statements and the medical examiner’s findings and crime scene evidence. A handgun was recovered at the scene and Davis was arrested and charged with two counts of murder.

Does anyone have information about Bernadene’s life in Covington or details from the evening of September 17, 2015, that might help clarify what happened?
