William Franklin Burtron, 69, was found dead in his LaGrange, Georgia, home on the night of January 31, 2015, after a concerned employer reported he had missed several days of work. Deputies forced entry and discovered five victims across multiple rooms: William, his wife Sheila Burtron, 68, their daughter Christie Lee, 33, granddaughter Bailey Burtron, 16, and family friend Iiaonna Green, 18. Investigators determined at least four of the five had been fatally shot and believed the victims had been dead several days before discovery.

The investigation focused on Christie’s husband, 26-year-old Thomas Jesse Lee, who was initially a person of interest and later charged with five counts of malice murder. Lee was arrested at a bus station in Tupelo, Mississippi, after being recognized by a pastor who had helped him with bus fare. William Burtron was a U.S. Navy veteran who had retired after 20 years and worked as a technician at a Wal-Mart Distribution Center.

Does anyone have information about the days leading up to January 31, 2015, or recall seeing an olive green Mazda Tribute in the LaGrange area?
