On the night of Friday, December 12, 2014, a gunfight at Wings Cafe on Bloomfield Road in Macon, Georgia, left 25-year-old Cory Hollingshed dead. The shooting began shortly before 2 a.m. during what investigators described as a confrontation tied to a feud between two rival street gangs identified as the Crips and the Gangster Disciples, also known locally as the Blacc Team. Hollingshed was identified in reports as an alleged member of the Crips.

Two other men were killed in the attack that night: 34-year-old nightclub DJ George Henley, and 38-year-old Derrick Jackson, who died days later in the hospital; four more people were wounded. The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office treated the incident as gang-related and made multiple arrests. Accused in connection with the killings were Markques Patterson, Eric Watkins, Vertuice Wall, Jacquez Foster, and Kenyata Lester.

Subsequent charges and pleas arising from the investigation included guilty pleas and sentences for some defendants and dropped charges for another, while at least one accused remained listed as awaiting trial as of April 2016. Does anyone have additional information about Cory or the events at Wings Cafe that night?
