A fight at a Riverdale Shell convenience store turned deadly in the morning of a November 2014 Friday. The altercation began inside the store and continued into the parking lot, where 21-year-old Ryan Delong Hill was shot multiple times and died at the scene. Witnesses said both men produced weapons during the fight; one witness reported that after Hill fell, the other man kicked him in the face and then waited for police to arrive.
Clayton County officers arrested 24-year-old Taylor Shawn Boyer at the scene and initially charged him with voluntary manslaughter and weapons offenses. Investigators sought a female witness who had been present. In March 2015 a grand jury returned an indictment upgrading the case to malice and felony murder, aggravated assault, and additional weapons charges.
Did anyone see Hill or Boyer at the Shell that morning or know the identity of the woman witnesses said was present?
