James E. Morrow, 51, was shot dead on the front porch of his Whitesville Road home in Lagrange, Georgia, on the night of October 9, 2014. He had been visiting with a neighbor after work when a man on a bicycle rode past, then returned on foot armed with a firearm and opened fire without warning. Morrow was struck once and died at the scene; his neighbor was hit multiple times while fleeing and was airlifted to a hospital in Atlanta.
Witnesses described the shooter as a tall, thin Black male wearing all blue with a hat or hood. Neighbors said both victims were quiet, kept to themselves, and were often seen on the porch. Law enforcement reported few leads, no apparent motive, and has continued to seek public help; a reward is being offered for information that leads to an arrest.
Does anyone in the Lagrange area remember seeing a bicyclist or a person in all blue near Whitesville Road that night?
