Late on March 30, 2014, a violent confrontation inside an apartment at the Bristol Court Apartments on Westchase Village Lane in Norcross, Georgia, ended with 21-year-old Tevin Saffo shot dead. Police found Saffo deceased at the scene; another 21-year-old man, Tyler Reeves, was critically injured and taken to Gwinnett Medical Center. A third person, 28-year-old Talon Dunkentell, suffered only minor injuries treated at the scene.
Gwinnett County investigators focused on Dunkentell’s actions during the altercation. She was initially arrested on aggravated assault and obstruction, and detectives later upgraded charges after evidence suggested she fired shots and acted with intent. Dunkentell was charged with murder, aggravated assault, obstruction of justice, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and held without bond. Drugs and paraphernalia were found in the apartment, but investigators said narcotics were not considered a factor in the shooting.
Does anyone have information about what led to the altercation that night or who was present at the Bristol Court Apartments?
