Dominick Lawan Williams Sr., 43, was found shot to death inside a home in the 1300 block of East 75th Street in the Grand Crossing neighborhood on Chicago’s South Side on July 27, 2022. He was discovered with multiple gunshot wounds around noon and was pronounced dead at the scene by police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

Detectives describe the wounds as multiple, consistent with a violent, deliberate attack. No arrests were made immediately after the homicide, and investigators reported a lack of witnesses and concrete evidence as obstacles in the inquiry. The Chicago Police Department is asking anyone with information to come forward.
