On the night of June 22, 2009, 51-year-old Abdul Choudhry was working at the Shell Station he owned on North Salisbury Boulevard in Salisbury, Maryland, when two men entered just before 11:00 p.m. The suspects, both described as Black males, brandished a gun and demanded money. A struggle broke out between Choudhry and one of the assailants, and Choudhry was shot multiple times. He was taken to Peninsula Regional Medical Center but died of his injuries.
One suspect was described as thin, about six feet tall, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and a mask; the other wore dark-colored clothing. Salisbury police investigated but no arrests were announced, and the case is now treated as a cold case. Few details about the suspects or their movements after the shooting have been released.
If anyone has information about that night or about the two men who entered the station, please come forward to Salisbury law enforcement.
