Rodger Emerson Jr. Evens, 24, was found dead from multiple gunshot wounds to the head on the night of February 16, 2009, in the 5600 block of Sagra Road near Good Samaritan Hospital. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators later arrested several people in connection with the killing; the homicide record is listed as Closed by arrest. John Henry Adams and Michael Forame were charged in the case, and Charles Gray and Daniel Dubbs were also charged.
