Sinica Price, a 39-year-old African American man, was killed in Harvey, Illinois, on June 6, 2021. He was found with a gunshot wound and taken to South Suburban Hospital in Hazel Crest, where he was pronounced dead. The shooting occurred in the early hours of the morning at 148 West 155th Street.

Reports link Price’s death to an earlier, chaotic shooting that same night at Club O, a strip club in Harvey, where Dontay Banks, known as DThang and the brother of rapper Lil Durk, was shot in the head and killed and an officer identified as E. Muhamad was also wounded after observing a patron with a weapon. Authorities said Price’s death might have been retaliatory and that multiple agencies were investigating both scenes; no arrests had been reported.

If anyone has information about either shooting or about Sinica Price that could help investigators, please come forward.
