Keantre D. Milan, 27, was fatally shot on February 23, 2021, in Decatur, Illinois. Witnesses reported gunfire exchanged between vehicles near Pershing Road and North Jasper Street; Milan’s vehicle then left the roadway and struck a utility pole on North Jasper Street. He was found inside with multiple gunshot wounds and taken to Decatur Memorial Hospital, where he died at 5:50 p.m. Macon County Coroner Michael Day identified Milan and an autopsy was performed the next day to determine the exact cause of death.

The Decatur Police Department opened an investigation and has asked anyone with information to come forward. No arrests or suspects have been reported in connection with the shooting.
