Sean B. Patton, 28, of Chicago, was shot and killed during a house party at an Airbnb rental in Barrington Hills, Illinois, on March 7, 2020. Police were called for shots fired to a residence in the 300-block of Old Sutton Road in the early morning; officers found Patton with multiple gunshot wounds and he was pronounced dead at the scene. The Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office ruled the death a homicide.
The party drew people from outside Barrington Hills and turned violent after a disagreement led to gunfire. Many attendees had fled before police arrived. The Cook County Major Case Assistance Team was brought in to help the investigation.
If anyone attended the March 7 gathering at the Old Sutton Road rental or has information about who fired the shots, please share what is known with investigators.
