Melvin George was 26 when he vanished from Amherst, New York, on February 14, 2016. His roommate last saw him at about 8:00 p.m. that evening; after that, all communication stopped. He left behind his phone and other personal belongings in his apartment, which suggested the departure was not planned. Early reports identified him as a graduate student in computer science at SUNY Buffalo, but that was later corrected — he was not enrolled in classes when he disappeared.

Originally from the village of Kangazha in Kerala, India, Melvin was described as between 5 feet 8 inches and 5 feet 10 inches, weighing about 180 to 210 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.

If anyone knew Melvin, lived near SUNY Buffalo in 2016, or has information about his movements on February 14, 2016, please come forward with what you remember.
