Joseph Daniel Kane, 42, of Little York, Illinois, died on March 14, 2018. Born March 21, 1975, in Monmouth, he was the eldest child of Daniel Joseph Kane and Carol Lee Kane and married Cindy Jo Brown on June 13, 1998. He and Cindy raised four children: Ashleigh Jacquilynn, William Joseph, Lauren Lucille, and Jacob E. Daniel.

Kane was a 1993 graduate of Southern High School, where he played football wearing number 75, and earned an agriculture degree from Western Illinois University in 1997. He worked as Illinois Fertilizer Retail Manager for CGB REDSHED in Smithshire and was active in the community as Henderson County Fair Board President for 12 years, co-founder of Barn Crawl ~ Crawlin’ for a Cure, a promoter of the Western Illinois Figure 8 Racing Series, volunteer fireman and co-chairman of the Raritan Fireman Fireworks Display.
