Marco Ceja-Sanchez, 37, was found dead alongside his 36-year-old brother David Ceja-Sanchez on November 29, 2016, in an under-construction townhouse in the Sagebrook Homes development in Lockport, Illinois. Both men, who worked as construction workers for a subcontractor on the site, had suffered fatal gunshot wounds. A construction foreman discovered the bodies early that morning and the deaths were classified as a double homicide — the first murders in Lockport in several years.
The Lockport Police Department and the Will-Grundy Major Crimes Task Force reviewed neighborhood security footage and collected evidence at the scene. Despite an extensive investigation and a reward being offered for tips that could lead to a conviction, no suspects have been identified and the case remains open. The police said the incident appears isolated and urged anyone with information to come forward.
Did anyone in the area know Marco or David, or have information about activity at the Sagebrook Homes site around November 29, 2016?
