A night out at a Louisiana nightclub ended in homicide for 17-year-old Trevon Washington of Alexandria on Saturday, February 19, 2022. The shooting occurred at Club 318 on the 2100 block of Lee Street after police received calls about fights at about 11:45 p.m., then reports of shots fired. Officers found three people with gunshot wounds. Washington suffered a wound to his upper torso and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Two other males, a 16-year-old and a 19-year-old, were shot in the leg and taken to local hospitals. This was reportedly the second shooting at the nightclub that week. The Alexandria Police Department is investigating, and no arrests or suspect identifications have been publicly released.
