A private party on St. Charles Street in Thibodaux, Louisiana, ended in gunfire that killed 47-year-old Alvin Turner and 70-year-old Linda Johnson. The shooting happened on a Friday evening after a verbal altercation between Turner and another man at the event. The man reportedly left the gathering, then returned armed and opened fire, fatally striking Turner; Johnson appears to have been hit as an unintended victim.
Law enforcement identified Terrione Thomas as the primary suspect and arrested him on two counts of second-degree murder in connection with Turner and Johnson’s deaths. Timothy Thomas was also arrested and charged with accessory after the fact to second-degree murder, accused of assisting his brother following the shooting.
Who in Thibodaux might have been at that party or seen the events before or after the shooting?
