William Moran was 26 when he was shot and killed at 50 Archdale Road in Boston’s Roslindale neighborhood on July 1, 2007. Responding officers found Moran with gunshot injuries; the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner ruled his death a homicide with the cause listed as gunshot wounds.
Publicly released information is sparse. Records do not describe what led up to the shooting, whether Moran was specifically targeted, or how many people were involved. The Boston Police Department lists the case among the city’s unsolved 2007 homicides, and no suspect, arrest, charge, or conviction has been publicly identified.
If anyone in Roslindale at the time has recollections about the scene on Archdale Road or observed suspicious activity around July 1, 2007, that information could still be helpful to investigators.
