Kalisca Williams was 26 and pregnant when she was shot and killed in her home on Whittington Street in Bossier, Louisiana, on the night of January 21, 2020. Police responded to a call at 11:10 p.m. and found her unresponsive with a gunshot wound; Bossier City Fire Department personnel pronounced her dead at the scene.
Williams was a mother of five; her eight-year-old daughter later described her as her best friend. Investigators say the shooting occurred during an argument at the residence. Within a day authorities arrested 32-year-old Terrence Ted Brown and charged him with second-degree murder, alleging he brandished a handgun during the dispute and fired the shot that struck Williams. Brown was booked into the Bossier City jail.
What details about that night or the people involved might help explain how a household argument turned fatal?
