Jenett King, a 40-year-old woman from Birmingham, Alabama, was last seen on July 4, 2005, while staying with her boyfriend at the Town Motel on 3rd Avenue West. According to the boyfriend, the two argued and Jenett left the motel on foot; she has not been seen or heard from since.

Jenett is described as a Black female with black hair and brown eyes. Her family says she was very close to her large family and believes it was out of character for her to cut off contact. The case is classified as an endangered missing person matter; the Birmingham Police Department and the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Department have investigated. The boyfriend was interviewed three times and has been described as a person of interest but has not been officially named a suspect and stopped cooperating with investigators.

Does anyone who lived in Birmingham in 2005 remember seeing Jenett or have information about her last known movements?
