Simone Robin, 19, was found dead in early June 2018 in St. Landry Parish; authorities determined she had been the victim of a homicide. Investigators say the shooting occurred inside a trailer in Catahoula on a Thursday morning, and that the trailer was set on fire the following Saturday afternoon in an apparent attempt to conceal the crime.
The St. Martin Parish Sheriff’s Office identified several suspects. Brandon Bouttee, 25, of St. Martinville, was arrested on charges of second-degree murder and obstruction of justice after an earlier arrest for simple arson; his bond was set at $1,050,000. Toby Bouttee, 22, was charged with accessory after the fact to second-degree murder with bond set at $100,000, and Donald Boutte, 62, was charged with obstruction of justice and accessory after the fact. Britni Courville, 28, of Breaux Bridge, was charged with illegally supplying a felon with a firearm after investigators say she purchased a gun for Brandon Bouttee several weeks before the killing.
Anyone who knew Simone, saw activity around the trailer in Catahoula that week, or has information about the weapon or the arson is asked to come forward.
