Vincent Alexander Cuccia, 19, was shot and killed in Mandeville, Louisiana, on Saturday, March 18, 2017, after an argument with another teenager escalated. A lifelong Mandeville resident, Cuccia was a father of two sons and enjoyed music, cars, and time with his family.

Authorities say the dispute was over a woman and that 19-year-old Jake Mills shot Cuccia multiple times. Cuccia was taken to a nearby hospital but died of his injuries. The St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office identified Mills as the shooter; he was arrested, booked into the parish jail, and charged with second-degree murder. The sheriff called the episode a senseless killing that changed the lives of two young men.

If anyone knew Vincent or has information about the shooting, please come forward to assist the investigation.
