Brian Rodrigue, 37, was killed in Harvey, Louisiana on the evening of August 15, 2016. His body was found inside a silver car that had crashed into a garage in the 2500 block of Brataria Boulevard; investigators say he had suffered a fatal gunshot wound to the chest and the shot occurred after an earlier physical altercation that day.
Authorities identified two suspects, a father and son, Wayne Joseph, 42, and his 17-year-old son Tyrus Joseph. Tyrus allegedly left and returned with his father, and Wayne is accused of telling his son to handle the situation. Tyrus is accused of firing the handgun that struck Rodrigue; Rodrigue then attempted to leave in his vehicle and was later found in the crashed car.
Both men were arrested soon after the incident. Wayne Joseph was charged as a principal to second-degree murder and Tyrus Joseph was charged with second-degree murder. Did anyone in the area know Rodrigue or witness the dispute that led to the shooting?
