Martin Christopher Austin, 20, was last seen on March 15, 1974, in Fairfield, California. He was living at home and was seen by his mother at 8:00 a.m. that morning. Later he went to Solano Community College and collected his paycheck but never reported for work the next day and has not been heard from since.

On March 17, 1974, Martin’s white 1971 Honda Z600 was found abandoned in the parking lot of Linda Mar Shopping Center in Pacifica. At the time of his disappearance he was 6 feet 1 inch to 6 feet 2 inches, about 170 to 180 pounds, with brown hair, hazel eyes, a full beard and mustache. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a gray t-shirt, a brown suede jacket and size 11 hiking boots with lug soles. Foul play is suspected, and the Fairfield Police Department continues to handle the investigation.
