Dalton Davis was 15 when he died from a gunshot wound on April 12, 2021, in Spring Lake, North Carolina. His body was found in the bed of a pickup truck that had been driven into Brushy Creek on Deere Creek Road, just outside Atmore. Investigators tie the shooting to a Walnut Hill residence where Dalton and others had been using methamphetamine with two named adults.

Authorities identified multiple suspects in the case, including one person charged with first-degree premeditated murder and attempted first-degree murder, and two others implicated as accessories after the fact. The investigation included statements about who was present in the house and the sequence leading to Dalton being placed in the truck and driven into the creek.

Does anyone have information about Dalton’s movements before April 12, 2021, or recall seeing the truck on Deere Creek Road that day?
