Joshua Brandon Pritchard was 37 when he died on January 14, 2021. He lived in Marion, North Carolina, worked as a self-employed landscaper and enjoyed fishing, four-wheeling, archery and collecting antiques. He is survived by his father Max Alan Pritchard, two sons Brandon Issac Staley and Joshua Andrew Pritchard, a daughter Harlow Wynter David, and other family members.

Deputies from the McDowell County Sheriff’s Office responded that evening to a Wildrose Drive address in Marion and found Joshua’s body inside a Hyundai sedan. Investigators concluded he had been shot three times with a handgun during a dispute in the vehicle. His girlfriend, Robin Daniels Eudy, 43, of Bakersville, North Carolina, was arrested and charged with murder after the shooting. A gathering for family and friends was held January 21, 2021, at Beam Funeral Service and Crematory, with a private graveside service following.
