Marcus Moore was 24 when he was found with gunshot wounds behind a home on Deaton Street in Statesville, North Carolina, on June 21, 2019, in the late afternoon around 5:00 p.m. He was taken to a local hospital but died of his injuries. Marcus was a high school graduate who played football at Statesville Middle School.
