Quantae Dixon, 23, was shot and killed during an attempted robbery on January 14, 2019, while sitting in his car on Doctors Drive in Kinston, North Carolina. His mother, Kecia Conner, said that after hearing her other son call out, she saw Quantae at her front door; he told her he had been shot, said he loved her, and she drove him to the hospital. He was later flown to ECU Medical Center, where he died.

Conner described Quantae as comical and loving, and said he had not been arrested or involved in gangs. Six years after the shooting no arrests have been made; the Kinston Police Department has marked the anniversary and urged anyone with information to come forward. The family says someone in the community may know what happened but has been too afraid to speak up.

Can anyone who knew Quantae or who remembers that night on Doctors Drive provide information that could help the investigation?
