Kenneth D. Kelly, 41, of Kernersville, North Carolina, was shot and killed on June 23, 2018. He was discovered with a gunshot wound at his apartment on Century Boulevard and later pronounced dead at Wake Forest Baptist Hospital in Winston-Salem. The shooting happened in front of his fiancée and two teenage family members who were present.

Investigators say Kelly had advertised illegal drugs for sale on social media, which prompted three people to arrive at his home: Jacob Michael Townsend, Sajae Charles Woodley, and Justin Norey Noland. The interaction escalated into a robbery during which Kelly was shot. The Kernersville Police Department and the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation identified the suspects and took them into custody; Townsend was arrested by the New York Police Department, Noland was arrested in Kernersville, and Woodley was apprehended by the North Carolina State Highway Patrol during a traffic stop in Lincolnton. Woodley and Noland pled guilty to armed robbery and voluntary manslaughter, and Townsend was subject to extradition to Forsyth County to face the same charges.

Police described the death as an isolated incident. Does anyone have information about Kelly, his activities, or the people who came to his home that night?
