Kyle W. Jarrett, 28, was shot and killed inside his Arlie Lane home in Lillington, North Carolina, on June 21, 2018. He was pronounced dead after suffering two gunshot wounds to the upper body. Family and friends remembered him as joyful, adventurous, and working toward becoming a history teacher; a funeral gathering was held at Kipling United Methodist Church in Harnett County.

The Harnett County Sheriff’s Office investigated the killing and arrested four people. Jordan Jackson, 16, and Ladondre Jalen Gay, 17, both from Angier, were charged with first-degree murder, second-degree kidnapping, attempted robbery with a dangerous weapon, and conspiracy to commit robbery. Alma Isabel Correa Portillo, 17, and Jarell Donte Ballentine, 18, also from Angier, faced similar charges. Investigators said no additional persons were believed to have been present at the time.

A $10,000 reward had been offered for information leading to an arrest. Does anyone have information about Kyle, his home on Arlie Lane, or the night of June 21, 2018?
