Elliot Ward Dew, 30, of Whiteville, North Carolina, died on December 12, 2017. He was born August 9, 1987, in Lumberton and worked at Madison Motors in Whiteville. His death occurred at Columbus Regional Healthcare System in Whiteville.

Elliot was the son of Becki Ward and David Warren Dew. He is survived by his parents; a sister, Melissa Dew Wilson of Hampstead; a niece, Sophia Wilson; and a nephew, Hayden Wilson. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother Clara Bennett Best and paternal grandparents William Avery Dew, Sr. and Blanche Dowless Dew. Funeral services were at Living Word Church and he was buried in Pierce Cemetery in Hallsboro.
