Wade Treáshaun Hamilton was 28 when he was found dead inside his home in Shelby, North Carolina, on May 6, 2017. Reports identify him as an aspiring rapper who performed as Trea-8 and note he was a native of Cleveland County and the son of Wade E. Hamilton Jr. of Texas and Tammy Poston of Shelby. He left behind a fiancée, Tiehrra Bolick, children Shyne, Prince, Zamiyah, and an unborn son, Supreme Hamilton.
The Shelby Police Department determined Wade had been shot and classified the death as a homicide. Investigators conducted interviews and collected evidence, but no immediate arrest was reported and the case remained open. The family and community were deeply affected and have continued to seek answers.
Does anyone who lived in Shelby at that time or who knew Wade have information that could help the ongoing investigation?
