Lonndale Samuel Williams, an 18-year-old African American man from Statesville, North Carolina, died after a shooting on November 4, 2016. Officers went to a home in the 1000 block of Wilson Lee Boulevard and found Williams with a gunshot wound. He was taken to Iredell Memorial Hospital and then flown to Baptist Hospital in Winston Salem, where he died late that night.

The shooting is reported to have occurred inside his house, but the circumstances remain unclear. As of the latest information, no arrests or suspects have been identified and the Statesville Police Department is asking anyone with information to come forward.
