Jamie Lee Scott, a 32-year-old man from Fairmont, North Carolina, was shot to death inside his home on Legette Road on May 13, 2016. The Robeson County Sheriff’s Office reported Scott had an argument with Joseph Howard Faulk, who left the house and later returned with a gun before shooting Scott.

Joseph Howard Faulk, also 32, was charged with first-degree murder and held in the Robeson County Detention Center without bond as the investigation continued. Authorities were still gathering evidence and information related to the case.
