Eric Devone Bowen, a 43-year-old African American man, was shot and killed outside his home on Pocosin Road in Lake Waccamaw, North Carolina, on January 3, 2016. The Columbus County Assistant Coroner, William Hannah, confirmed Bowen had been shot at least once.
