Antonio Montreal Chambers, 25, was found shot to death in the bedroom of an apartment at the Colonial Village complex in Salisbury, North Carolina, on October 23, 2014. Salisbury officers responded to a 3:43 a.m. call reporting a shooting at 231 D Ave., Colonial Village apartment 43, and discovered Chambers deceased from a gunshot wound. A woman and two children were in the apartment but were not harmed.

Chambers did not live at that unit. Family members began gathering at the complex soon after the discovery; his grandmother Lois Chambers described him as good-hearted and smiling often, and his aunt Jancinia Ingram said the family could not understand why anyone would want to kill him. Police said the shooting was not random and that investigators were pursuing leads. No arrests, suspects, or litigation have been reported.

Did anyone in the area see or hear anything around 3:43 a.m. on October 23, 2014 that could help investigators?
