Eriberto Crecencio Bosques, 31, of Cary, North Carolina, was found dead inside the Wash Tub Laundromat on Reed Street on March 29, 2014. A cleaning person discovered his body on the laundromat floor and Cary police initially treated the death as suspicious while awaiting autopsy results.

On March 31, 2014, the State Medical Examiner’s Office ruled Bosques’ death a homicide; the cause of death was not released because the investigation was ongoing. Cary police said they did not believe the act was random and were conducting interviews and gathering information. Investigators noted there had been multiple fights in the area recently.

Police arrested Rumaldo Ramirez Velasquez in connection with Bosques’ murder. Crime Stoppers offered a reward for information leading to the arrest or indictment of those responsible. If anyone knew Bosques or saw activity around the laundromat that morning, please come forward with information.
