Paul Steven Jandreau, 51, a retired Navy master chief who worked at BAE Systems in Norfolk, Virginia, was found dead in Moyock, North Carolina. He was reported missing after failing to show up for work on June 30, 2010; his body was discovered on July 3, 2010, inside a large tote in the garage of his home at 100 Armstead Court. He had been wrapped in plastic and duct taped, and suffered five gunshot wounds from a .45 caliber handgun to the abdomen, chest, thigh, neck and hand, plus about a dozen head lacerations consistent with being struck by a blunt object. His cell phone was missing and cleaning supplies were present; the primary bedroom’s hardwood floor had been scrubbed.

Paul’s wife, Lateisha Jandreau, 38, was arrested and charged with first-degree murder after officers found her cowering in a bedroom closet when the body was located. Lateisha’s brother, Eugene Askew, 39, was identified as a person of interest and was being sought. Family told investigators Paul had been having marital problems and had discussed divorce and alleged evidence of infidelity; friends who reported his absence also noted furniture being loaded into his pickup, windows covered with paper and a strong bleach odor in a bathroom.

Does anyone have information about Paul, Lateisha or Eugene Askew that could help clarify what happened?
