I've been following the case of MyeZavier Zay Cannady and recently read some updates on the investigation. It’s so upsetting to think about how the sale of a gaming console could lead to such a senseless act of violence. It’s clear that Cannady had a lot going for him, and his loss is truly felt by those who knew him.
It’s comforting to see the Brunswick community coming together to hold vigils and support one another during this difficult time. The outpouring of love shows just how much Zay meant to the people in his life. I really hope Amanita Burleigh finds some solace in this support as she continues to seek justice for her son.
To everyone in the Brunswick and Warren areas, if there’s any information you might have, I urge you to come forward. Even the smallest detail could help. Stay strong, Brunswick community. We're all hoping for answers soon.

I've seen the community coming together for vigils and offering support, which is so important right now. It speaks volumes about how beloved he was. My heart goes out to everyone mourning Zay's loss, especially his mom, Amanita Burleigh, who has shown incredible strength through such unimaginable pain. I truly hope this investigation moves forward swiftly and that the suspect is brought to justice soon. Every bit of information helps, so please, if anyone knows anything, speak up. Zay and his loved ones deserve that closure.
