Mark Osborn, 50, was shot and killed at his Riverside, Ohio, home on Richland Avenue on January 17, 2022. The same shooting also killed 35-year-old Richard Isaac, who later died at Miami Valley Hospital; Osborn’s fiancée was wounded and later released from the hospital.

Investigators found evidence of at least two firearms at the scene, a 9mm and a .45 caliber, and recovered marijuana and a white powder substance. Police say the incident appears linked to narcotics or drug activity and may have been a drug deal gone wrong or a planned robbery. A person of interest was identified as being at the scene but was not believed to have fired a weapon. The Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation is assisting, and police have been examining phone records and witness interviews; no arrests have been announced.
