On May 16, 2013, 28-year-old Terrance Marks was killed in a drive-by shooting on Interstate 880 in Oakland, California. Marks was a passenger in a white Porsche Panamera when a dark-colored SUV pulled alongside and opened fire. The driver, Christopher Beardon, was also shot and killed.
After the initial gunfire the Panamera struck a guardrail and Marks either was ejected or fled the vehicle; he was then struck by another car on the freeway and died. Police described the incident as a targeted attack and asked for witnesses and surveillance footage. Both victims had been wearing Golden State Warriors gear after attending a playoff game earlier that evening.
If anyone saw the vehicles or the shooting on Interstate 880 that night, or has surveillance from nearby businesses or homes, please share what you know.
