Mark R. Yauger II was 30 when he died on April 5, 2020, at Trumbull Regional Medical Center after suffering a gunshot wound. A Warren resident and trade union carpenter, he was born October 14, 1989, in Hayward, California, and is survived by his parents Mark R. Yauger and Helena Orosz, son Carson Yauger, and siblings Jessica, Jonathan, Reese, and Tim Lee.

Warren police say Yauger was the city’s sixth homicide of 2020. Neighbors reported hearing gunshots and seeing two masked suspects flee the scene. Detectives are following leads and using new technology to develop evidence, but no arrests have been announced and the investigation remains open.

Anyone who knew Mark, saw activity near the scene on April 5, 2020, or has information that could help investigators is asked to come forward.
