Kareena Broski was 18 and a student at Miami Valley Career Technology Center through Northmont High School when she was found shot to death just after midnight on January 13, 2020, in Englewood, Ohio. Her body was discovered in the parking lot of an apartment complex in the 700 block of Union Boulevard; she was taken to Grandview Medical Center and pronounced dead from a gunshot wound to the torso. The Montgomery County Coroner ruled the death a homicide.
Englewood police say they believe Broski was shot at another location and then moved to the apartment complex. Investigators also suspect she knew her killer and have been tracing her movements the night before her death. Authorities served 16 search warrants seeking her digital footprint but have not identified a suspect; the case remains unsolved and investigators continue to seek tips.
Her family describes her as sweet, outgoing, and fun-loving, and they are seeking justice and closure. If anyone has information about Kareena’s movements or who might have been with her that night, please come forward.
