Michael Jones, 37, was fatally shot on May 16, 2019, in the 3000 block of Solar Street NW in Warren, Ohio. Police found him between the sidewalk and a home’s driveway with multiple gunshot wounds; investigators believe he was shot inside the house and managed to get outside before he died.

Surveillance released by Warren police shows Jones in a car with at least two other people, including the person investigators suspect fired the shots, shortly before the shooting. Detectives have identified a green four-door Cadillac as the vehicle involved and say it has been seen around town. No arrests have been announced; Crimestoppers Youngstown is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to an arrest.

Detective Wayne Mackey and local leaders including the Akron Chapter of the NAACP have urged the public to help provide answers in an ongoing investigation.
