Christopher Osborn, a 50-year-old doctor of osteopathy, was shot to death in his Dublin, Ohio home in the early hours of July 18, 2018. He was born March 17, 1968, in Victorville, California, had practiced medicine for 21 years, and is survived by his mother Pamela Osborn, brother Tony Osborn, and three children, Christopher, Lauren, and Rachel.
Authorities determined Christopher’s death to be a murder. His wife, Holli Osborn, was arrested and charged after the shooting; prosecutors said he was shot three times in the head while he slept. At trial jurors heard that Holli had been drinking heavily, called her father to report her husband’s death, and that the marriage had been tumultuous with allegations of infidelity. Physical evidence introduced included gunshot residue on Holli’s hands and DNA on the gun used in the shooting.
Holli Osborn was convicted on two counts of murder on October 6, 2022, and sentenced to 18 years to life. Christopher’s family spoke at sentencing about their grief and loss. If anyone knew Christopher, his family, or witnessed events in Dublin around July 18, 2018, please share what you know.
