Stephen J. Arling, 22, of Chickasaw, Ohio, died on October 9, 2017, at Mercer Health Hospital in Coldwater. Born April 3, 1995, he was the son of John and Barbara Arling and was survived by siblings Bridget, Megan, Amanda, Nathan, and Rachel, as well as extended family including grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A 2014 graduate of Marion Local High School, Stephen had worked as a delivery boy for the Daily Standard and was employed at Crown Equipment in New Bremen at the time of his death. He enjoyed computers, bowling, camping, and Boy Scouts. His Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at Precious Blood Church in Chickasaw, followed by burial in Precious Blood Cemetery.
